Nono Gigsta

Nono Gigsta (she/they) gets as much joy dancing to music as she does reflecting on it - either as an academic researcher, DJ, producer, promoter, radio host and zine maker. Having performed internationally under the moniker « Gigsta » since 2015, Nono started avoiding flights altogether in March 2019 and later joined the campaigner network Stay Grounded. She’s been vocal about climate justice issues and hyper-mobility in the arts via her newsletter (https://nonogigsta.substack.com) and is regularly invited to host workshops and participate in panels.
